ABOUT US

West Valley DRIVE is a Los Gatos and South Bay based competitive AAU basketball program serving youth from 2nd Grade through High School. We run two seasons per year (fall and spring), designed to allow players to participate in NJB or their school's basketball team during the winter season.

Since all of our players are students, an awareness of the need for balance between athletics and school is baked into our philosophy. We strive to develop healthy student athletes and we care about their success in both arenas’. We share and encourage a love of the game, while teaching skills, sportsmanship and competitive development.

Each season, our teams participate in tournaments (local to the bay area). Practices are all held in Los Gatos and South Bay gyms (varies by team), and practices are at consistent times and locations each week.

Seasons

Summer / Fall Season: Aug – October (10- 12 weeks)
In -Season (break): November – February (School, All Net and NJB Season)
Spring Season: March - June (10 - 12 weeks)
Off -Season: June – July (6 weeks of camps and private instruction)

Plus: Camps during the school holidays throughout the year (Xmas, Thanksgiving, Spring break, etc.)

  • This is a total of over 30 weeks – 7 months of Basketball Instruction!
  • At least 60 practices and 14 Tournaments (30-50 games per year)
